Dragonball Evolution - Theater

Dragonball Evolution is another attempt by Hollywood to make a Karate movie for kids (see Forbidden Kingdom). There are aspects of the film that are entertaining -- but in the end the story just doesn't end up making much sense. Maybe you need to know the Manga source material this film is based on.
Only Chow Yun-Fat, the legendary Hong Kong actor, is able to bring anything original or interesting to the film. It's too bad he was only a supporting character.
